When using the vitro.one platform, the cell culture medium is in a closed loop from a medium container, via a pump, through the platform, back to a container. Subsequently, the gas environment can be controlled by adjusting the gas flow into the container. This allows for regular O2/CO2 environments, or low-oxygen / hypoxic conditions.
